We employ a consistent, structured approach to project management

Our stringent project management procedures create an ongoing dialogue with all of our clients. This regular contact allows us to highlight and address any issues in a timely manner. Our monthly feedback and progress reports provide up-to-date information to the client and provide an opportunity to review our service and make any adjustments as required.

The cornerstones of our service brings a cycle of improvement and drives up the standards we deliver to our clients no matter what size the project.

Establish lines of communication

Midland Landscaping will establish formal lines of communication with the client to build excellent working relationships in carrying out a contract.

Regular site visits & inspections

ML senior members of the team undertake regular site visits and inspections of their own teams to ensure quality, performance and progress of works undertaken & monitored at throughout the contract.

Monthly feedback

Giving monthly feedback and or completing any forms required by the client. Monthly progress meetings with the client would be established with our contracts manager/team members

Report issues promptly

Reporting any issues arising in a timely manner to the client. This would include complaints from members of the public, health and safety issues, ecological or environmental issues.

Rectify issues raised by client

Rectifying in a timely manner any issues raised by the client and making sure any actions arising are carried out. Any complaints are dealt with by the managing director with a hands on approach and will be directly available to the Staffordshire County Council client.

Work politely & courteously

Our expectations of our team members is to be polite, respectful and courteous at all times with high standards of conduct and monitor and act on any issues arising with qualify of performance in a timely manner. We abide by all the necessary employer standards required and are supportive to our team.

We plan to keep improving and this is demonstrated in our close contacts with our clients, consultants, industry experts, professionals and community organisations such as the Marches Growth Hub. We are committed to keeping at the forefront of our industry through reviewing our operations, policies, networking with industry and community businesses & ensuring that we feed this knowledge back to our team with the necessary support and training.

How We Work

Training & development

A training programme/calendar is followed to ensure the team are fully competent in completing tasks and meeting health and safety requirements. This ensure that we can keep adapting and improving and moving forward in the use of any new plant, equipment or methods needed within a contract.

Midland Landscaping is accredited by the following and recognised, safety and quality schemes : CHAS, Avetta, Risqs. We ensure that our policies, insurances and standards are reviewed annually to keep a high standard and quality in safe working practices.

Midland Landscaping is a member of BALI who audit and ensure that we meet industry standards for quality, performance, health and safety and also support our team to keep improving what we do within the specific scope of the landscape management field.

Supported in Health, Safety and training by industry expert and consultant Helena Phillips (NFU). She ensures we are advised on legislation and any essential updates so that we are able to keep reviewing our practices and processes.
